About six years ago I started my own record label that is also my production company (for music + video), called Make ART Now. In the last 5 years things have change so fast for artists. What seemed like impossible achievements are now at our fingertips. Take digital recording, now we are able to make high quality recordings without a high end studio, right at home. It is such an amazing part the modern age.
A few years ago I got a masters from Berklee College of Music in Production and Business. It was a great experience and now I feel equipped to produce music in my studio. During that time I launched my business Make ART Now which acts as a label for my releases. Having your own record company as an independent artists allows you so much freedom over the control of your releases. This was a critical step for me to take charge of my collection and then set up a way to help others through producing media.
